Great Support
The young man assigned to our event that evening, Kal, was a very calming, supportive and extremely professional Banquet Captain. He was like my right hand and I do not believe the evening would not have gone as well as it did without his help. 5 Stars for Kal.
Excellent Service
Excellent service and responsiveness throughout our planning and execution of our event. Everything went perfectly! I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Outstanding catering services
All catering services were outstanding. Food was excellent and they adjusted to our schedule as needed. Great Job as well!!!!!!! Everything was great. Staff were polite and very attentive.. Great Job!! Prices were a little high, but the service was very good. I felt the prices were well represented by the service of the staff and the quality of the food. Thanks everyone. Our meeting was successful and you did an excellent job.
The food was outstanding
The food was outstanding. We also received outstanding services from Wanda who remembered us from last year and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating! Food was delicious and provide a great variety for all staff to enjoy!
Fantastic hotel
It is now more than two weeks since we had our event. Everyone is still talking about what a wonderful time we had and how fantastic the hotel was!
Staff did a great job!
Dominic did a great job. He listened and understood our group's needs and offered us a great package. People in my group were generally not use to paying the prices of an Ocean Place but they also were not use to the level of quality of an Ocean Place.
We will work with you again!

We enjoyed the property and location
Dwayne King was very professional to work with. His attentiveness to our needs and budget goals was key to finalizing this meeting. I was very impressed by his suggestions/recommendatons. He represented the quality of the Ocean Place very well. We enjoyed the property/location and Tiki Bar. The outside set up felt as if we were in the Bahamas instead of NJ. The entire team enjoyed it.

Jackline Catrola is a credit to your organization. She impressed me very much with her sharpness, courtesy and terrific sense of humor. Kara Sliper was also outstanding. The professionalism she exhibited was quite extraordinatory. She walked the "extra mile" for me and people like that are very hard to come by.

I stayed at Ocean Place for business and would recommend it for pleasure! It was great for couples as well as families. The location is amazing. The beach is beautiful. The proximity to local shopping couldn't be better. We lucked out and had amazing weather!

Extreme Satisfaction
Sales manager was outstanding she followed through with every question and concern-nothing was unimportant or trivial! There was a staff member available at every turn to make sure myself and all guests were being accommodated. The food was amazing! EVERY GUEST EXPRESSED EXTREME SATISFACTION WITH EVERY ASPECT OF THE FOOD THROUGH OUT THE EVENT.
VERY helpful
Leah Monastra was VERY helpful throughout the entire process. Her knowledge of the vendors, facility and wedding "process" made the planning process that much easier. I would recommend the Ocean Place to anyone. All of our guests were very impressed with the facility, food and staff. Food was excellent. Presentation was excellent during the cocktail hour and reception. Guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
Leah Monastra was the Catering Manager throughout the planning of my sons wedding. She was far and above many people I have worked with prior on celebrations I have had. The wedding was in the planning stages for 18 months and Leah handled everything in a professional and timely manner and inspired confidence in the Ocean Place's ability to create a beautiful wedding. Two weeks after the wedding, I can tell you that everything was absolutely wonderful (service, food, staff) and our guests were very well taken care of. The wedding was outstanding and so was Leah's abilities to put everything together.

Everything was way above my expectations. Everyone was terrific and our wedding weekend will be the mist incredible memory ever, thanks to your staff.

One of the nicest hotels
Ocean Place is by far one the nicest hotels we have had the pleasure of staying with. We travel much so we have seen some to the finest in the world such as the Ritz. Keep up the good work and we look forward to many more stays!

The staff was outstanding
I think it is important to mention that our stay and event was the week of the blizzard. The staff was outstanding in their efforts to make sure our stay was comfortable, especially the chef who on the night of the blizzard stayed late to make dinner for our family since we were not aware of the earlier closing time for the kitchen. The manager was highly visible and very concerned and helpful in making our stay enjoyable.
Your venue is Superlative!
Your venue is superlative, & we enjoyed our views and your services. A special treat was our contact with your work-study people. They were pleasant and helpful in all respects & added a youthful and pleasant continental touch to our stay. It even gave us a chance to use the various languages we generally use only when traveling in Europe. We enjoyed chatting with your young people from Romania, Russia, Moldova, Czech Republic, Serbia, etc. Nice touch!

We will be back. Our first impression was what a nice resort on the Jersey Coast. Your staff was very accommodating from the front desk to the outside towel pick-up then onto the beach our greeting was very welcoming. We travel to islands once a year and this was just as nice if not better no airplane to get there. Our room was clean and what a surprise we had an ocean front room #427. Thanks! We will return soon. I talked about your Resort all day. The Palm trees on the beach, the chairs & umbrellas the great staff to set you up. Keep up the good work.
We love the hotel!
We loved the hotel!! The entire staff from check in to the wait staff, beach staff to housekeeping were extremely accommodating!
Beyond our expectations!
From the moment we arrived, Ocean Place was magical! The staff was wonderful - personable, professional, and couldn't do enough to insure our needs or wants were met. The hotel is spotless, beautifully decorated yet comfortable, not stuffy or austentatious, and a perfect location.... steps from the beach as well as shops. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped with multiple pillows, blankets, and towels. The complimentary soap and shampoo are wonderful.... definitely planning to purchase for home use if I can locate the vendor. Sleep was blissful... not a single sound could be heard from adjoining rooms, even when out on the balcony. The views are spectacular from any location on the property. The menus from breakfast to the lounge to dinner offered a wide variety of items and each item we enjoyed was prepared to perfection. I can't say enough wonderful things about Ocean Place.... truly fabulous in every respect. I know we will return many times in the years to come.
Great Resort
We recently stayed at Ocean Place Resort for a special family getaway for our parent's 50th Wedding Anniv. with 12 adults and 14 children. We were able to get a good rate. We coudn't have had a better time. We read mixed reviews and were apprehensive about going. I'm glad we didn't change our plans! When you first arrive the outside doesn't look spectacular, but it gets better & better after you walk through the lobby which is beautiful. The people at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were perfect. Not overly large, but we were there for the beach-not to hang out in the room. They were decorated nice and very well kept. My room had great air conditioning, my sister-in-law's room didn't. Great views(coastal view rm) overlooking beautiful beach with palm trees(in NJ?) and Pier Village. We felt like we were in Florida. The hotel offers beach chairs and towels (boy did this save room packing our car) and the attendants at the beach were very helpful and service was great. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but everyone loved the breakfast buffet. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were lovely and couldn't have been more polite (even to all our children). We spent the day going between the beach and the pool, which the kids loved and they have a great ice cream hut on the boardwalk. The pool has a grill that makes great hamburgers and the best french fries ever! At night the adults enjoyed the Tiki Bar with music and some nights they had a steel band. We felt like we could have been in the islands. We were a 5 minute wald to Pier Village which had great shops and restaurants. Everything was perfect from speaking to the reservation agent (who couldn't have been nicer) until the time we checked out. We will definitely come back.
