Do you charge a resort Fee?
A: As a guest of the hotel, A daily resort fee of $40 per night will be charged to your room rate. You will enjoy the following amenities included in the Resort Charge:
Is Ocean place Resort & Spa Pet friendly?
A: Pet friendly guestrooms are located on our 2nd floor Mezzanine level. Pet rooms are limited in number and are restricted to Standard Two Queen Guestrooms ONLY. Due to this, you must inform the hotel in advance if you are bringing a pet. There is a maximum of 2 pets per designated guestroom and are not to exceed a maximum of 80lbs combined. The hotel will charge a $150.00++ non-refundable service fee per stay for guests with pets (excluding service animals). This fee will offset the additional cleaning expense incurred. Pets may not be left unattended in the hotel room. Housekeeping may not service rooms with unattended pets. Pets are not allowed in any food or beverage service area, and must be kept on a leash in public areas. Please provide your cell phone number at check in, and be sure to clean up after your pet.
*Management reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who does not comply with the pet friendly policies at Ocean Place Resort & Spa.
Service Animals: Ocean Place Resort & Spa abides by the rules and regulations with regards to trained service animals. The laws under ADA only extends to animals that are individually trained to perform a task for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Due to this distinction, emotional support animals are not protected by the laws that govern service animals.
How do i book an Accessible room?
A: Accessible rooms are available to book online. All requests are based upon availability and are not guaranteed.
What shower amenities are available in rooms?
A: Shower amenities are shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and a hair dryer.
Is smoking allowed at the resort or in the rooms?
A: WE ARE A SMOKE-FREE PROPERTY
Our rooms are completely non-smoking, including the balconies. A $400.00 Smoking Abatement Fee will be charged if there is evidence of smoking in the room.
What forms of payment do you accept at check-in?
A: A credit card is required to check into the hotel for taxes, fees and incidentals. An authorization will be taken immediately, with an incidental hold of $100.00 per day. Upon check out, the balance of your stay will be charged. Any unused portion of the authorization will release once the pending transaction finalizes. This may take 3 to 10 business days depending on your financial institution.

Please feel free to use all of the resort facilities and amenities before/after you check out. The Front Desk will be happy to hold your luggage until you leave. We cannot accommodate late check outs.

WHAT IS THE % OF COMMISSION PAID?
Commission is 10% of the base rate per night (before taxes and fees).
WHAT RATES ARE COMMISSIONABLE?
Commissionable rates are available on our website or through GDS (i.e.: Resort Experience Rate (Best Available Rate) or packages/promotions). Group rates are NOT commissionable.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO CLAIM AN UNPAID COMMISSION?
You have up to 6 months to send the information. Invoices received after 6 months of the guests’ arrival date, cannot be processed.
DOES A STATEMENT SERVE AS AN INVOICE?
No, a statement only works as a report of your commissions due. An invoice must be submitted for review.
IN WHAT CASE IS MY COMMISSION NOT PAID?
a. If the reservation is cancelled outside of the cancellation policy booked therefore not charged, or if the reservation is a no show and not charged (i.e.: credit card declined).
b. Invoice is received past 6 months from arrival date.
WHEN WILL I GET PAID?
Once the guest departs the hotel, the invoice received will be reviewed and verified, then submitted to Accounting for payment. We will contact you if any discrepancies.
HOW OFTEN ARE COMMISSIONS PAID?
Commissions are typically paid within 30 days of invoice date.

Did anything change with Checking in & out?
· Masks are required on all areas of the property to be compliant with Governor Murphy's newest executive order
· Social distancing markers are located on the floor
· Signage is placed throughout the lobby reminding all guests about physical distancing requirements
· Front desks will have temporary physical barriers such as Plexiglas installed for added protection
· Hand Sanitizer Dispenser will be available in the lobby, and elevators
· During check-in and in confirmation email guests are provided COVID-19 information with hotel policies regarding distancing and personal protective equipment

Have your public spaces, such as your lobby, changed?
We have increased our staffing of public area attendants to support increased frequency of cleaning surfaces, with EPA approved cleaning agents. We have modified the placement of furniture to support our Social Distancing protocol and we ask all guests to leave a minimum of 6 feet of distance between one another for their protection and the protection of others. Hand Sanitizer stations are available throughout the property.

New processes for cleaning and hygiene
Our team members are being trained in enhanced cleaning routines, both within personal hygiene and new cleaning routines. We are also following COVID-19 guidelines provided by local health authorities.

Are the Pools heated?
A: Yes, The Ocean Place Resort & Spa outdoor pools is heated.
are there towels at the pool?
A: Towels are available at the Outdoor Locker Room from 8:00am – 8:00pm daily, weather permitting. You must sign a towel card. Please return the towels to the Outdoor Locker Room before 8:00pm. When you return your towels the towel card is returned to you and serves as your receipt. After 8:00pm, any unreturned towels will incur a fee of $35.00 per towel.
Are guests able to use the pools and resort amenities before check-in?
A: Yes, guests can use the amenities prior to check-in and the front desk staff will store luggage in the back room if needed.
What are the hours of operation of the fitness center?
A: Fitness Center – reopening effective, Tuesday, September 1st.
Hours of Operation: 6am until 9pm

Where can i find the prices for spa treatments?
How do i book a spa treatment?
What is the policy for spa guests under the age of 18?
A: A parent or legal guardian must accompany a spa guest under the age of 18 by booking a couples treatment. Spa guests under the age of 16, may only schedule manicure or pedicure services. Proper attire and proper behavior are required at all times while on spa property.
Do we have to wear a mask during a service?
Yes, masks must be worn during the service. Gloves are optional but some of the staff have decided they would like to wear gloves during the service to protect themselves and the guest. Please consult with your service provider before your service to clarify any questions or concerns you may have.
What are your cleaning procedure before each appointment?
We have built in additional time in all of our services to thoroughly clean and sanitize all of our treatment rooms before the next appointment.
If i book a spa appointment do we have access to the resort amenities like the pool and beach?
Due to the limited capacity at the Pool and Beach passes are not offered through the Spa. Anyone staying in the hotel will have special access to the pool or beach.
Do you have lockers available to store belongings during a service?
We have designated lockers available to the guests. Due to the state regulations we are not allowed to have items out that will be shared amongst our guests. Limited items for guest use are available.
Do guests have access to the relaxation room?
Our relaxation room is available for guest use. Currently there will be no eating or drinking in the Spa.
